Just because our program facilities aren’t physically open isn’t stopping us from providing learning opportunities for our individuals. We wrapped our first full week of online learning with great success. The individuals were so excited to see the Valley Educational staff.
We want to ensure equal and fair access to our virtual programs while we are under the shelter-in-place mandate. We are currently offering synchronous programs with occasional touch-base phone calls, and will be phasing in asynchronous programs. We understand schedules are off and not everyone is feeling up to par, so our staff is accommodating residences’ schedules.
