Hello everyone! Here at the Valley Educational Associates Chicopee location, not only do the individuals we serve but our staff as well, have a unique and fulfilling experience every day. We strive for our individuals to be as self-sufficient as possible so to make that happen, we have daily lessons that will benefit them in their daily lives such as cooking, healthy habits, basic job skills as well as basic life skills and many others. Everyone also gets to spend time out in the community and some even get experience with the jobs we have through our supportive employment contracts. We not only strive for structural learning groups, but we also love watching our individuals have fun doing activities such as bowling, karaoke, art and crafts and so much more. It’s important to us that all our staff are dedicated to our individuals and always create a positive work environment for them. Chicopee VEA is not only a great place to work, but also a great place for our individuals to achieve new goals.
Valley Industries
We are Valley Industries located on Carando Drive in Springfield. We strive every day to provide the people at our program with interactive enrichment and access to our community. Our diverse staff consist of dedicated veterans of 20 + years, and enthusiastic newcomers. We believe in Diversity and Inclusion to enhance the quality of life of our individuals.
Valley Enrichment
Here at Valley Enrichment in West Hatfield we are busy moving on from the excitement of the holidays. Even though we are in the cold and snow of winter, we are looking ahead to starting seeds in the spring and eating fresh veggies in the summer.
We occupy our time with a variety of on-site groups and classes as well as trips into the community and working on our Supported Employment jobs. With 2024 just starting, we are busy planning some new and exciting programming for the individuals to enjoy in the coming year.
VEA Administration
And of course, we here at the administrative office are providing support and aid to the VEA sites across Western Massachusetts. Collectively, we are VEA and we are here for each other and for everyone we have the power to help. All of us strive together with the same goal as always, to improve the quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities within our community.
